Gave this a try expecting the usual sting, but the round edge spreads the impact way better than my old thin paddle. The leather feels sturdy and the broad surface means you can go longer without it getting unbearable.

The leather has a nice weight to it, and that broad surface gives a solid thwack without needing much force. I expected the sting to fade fast, but it lingers just the way I hoped.

The round edges make a huge difference—it lands flat and firm without that sharp bite, and the sting genuinely lingers between swats. Leather feels substantial in the hand too.
